"Wrong!" The Necromancer God's voice suddenly turned cold, interrupting Wright's statement.

The two Believers were stunned, looking up at their deity, somewhat confused.

Wright asked cautiously: "Lord Necromancer God, what do you mean? Aren't we supposed to cooperate with the Lord of Spirits? The power of the Sacred Lake is strong, and besides..."

"Wrong again!" The Necromancer God's voice carried a hint of impatience and mockery. "When did I ever say I wanted to cooperate with the Lord of Spirits?"

Yage and Wright were completely bewildered.

Not cooperate?

Then what about dealing with the Twisted God Avatar together, tacitly allowing the Sacred Lake to set up an office in Keye City, and even indirectly helping the animals of the Sacred Lake? What did those count for?

The Necromancer God's pitch-black eyes swept over them: "Remember, you two are my Believers, not the Lord of Spirits' Believers! Your loyalty can only belong to me!"

He paused, black mist rolling, seemingly making a major decision: "From today on, you will stay here and officially become residents of my Necromancer God Domain. I will bestow upon you greater power, and you will assist me in managing the God Domain and commanding the new necromantic army."

They were to stay in the God Domain?

Wright was shocked.

Yage was so excited that his whole body trembled slightly. Becoming residents of the God Domain! What kind of honor and trust was this!

This meant they were officially promoted from Believers who ran errands for the deity to subjects or even managers within the God Domain; their status was worlds apart!

He was almost ready to kowtow and thank him immediately.

But Wright couldn't help himself. He thought of a key question and blurted out: "Lord Necromancer God! Then... then what about our followers in Keye City, Myanmar, the thousands of them? Who will take over our work?"

Keye City was the foundation they had built and painstakingly managed with their own hands. It held their hard work, the citizens and Adventurers who trusted them, and... those noisy but harmonious the animals of the Sacred Lake.

Could they just give it all up like this?

The Necromancer God sneered, his tone filled with undisguised contempt: "Blue Star is about to be finished. Why do you still care about those things on Blue Star? Once the God of War's army arrives, any city, any followers, will turn to ashes! Pick a portion of the most core, most promising followers and guide them to the God Domain through secret channels."

"As for the others... forget them."

"Abandon all operations on Blue Star!?"

Wright cried out, his face turning pale.

This was like a bolt from the blue, making it hard for him to accept. Abandon Keye City? Abandon the citizens who viewed them as saviors and integrated the faith of the Necromancer God into their daily lives?

Abandon the subtle but stable cooperative relationship established with the Sacred Lake?

Abandon the legal status they had fought so hard for, which was tacitly accepted and even partially recognized by various countries? Was all of this to be thrown away like trash?

Yage also snapped out of his ecstasy, as if struck by a heavy blow.

The excitement on his face instantly froze, replaced by deep confusion.

The Necromancer God meant that Blue Star would be finished!

He immediately knelt on one knee, summoning all his courage, his voice trembling slightly from excitement: "Great Necromancer God! I, your lowliest, most loyal Believer Yage, implore you to condescend to listen to my foolish opinion!"

He raised his head, his chest heaving: "We believe that Blue Star really still has a chance! We can unite with the Sacred Lake to protect Blue Star! The power displayed by the Lord of Spirits is beyond imagination; he is mass-producing deities! The God of War is strong, but he may not necessarily win easily!"

Wright also knelt down quickly and added: "Yes, Lord Necromancer God! Nowadays, the concept of death has taken root in people's hearts in Keye City and the surrounding areas under our jurisdiction!"

"People respect death and see it as a natural law. Our funeral services and soul-crossing peace ceremonies can all be held normally, and have even received official tacit approval!"

"Our Necromancer Church is no longer an evil cult that everyone shouts to beat, but a sect that is partially recognized! By handling humans' normal birth, aging, sickness, and death, repelling monsters, and burying the dead, we can collect large amounts of pure necromantic aura and Power of Faith, and stably feed them back to you! Isn't this the method you taught us in the beginning? Why do you want to destroy it with your own hands now?"

Yage took over, his tone becoming more earnest: "Our base camp, Keye City, now has humans and animals living in harmony. The Lame Rat of the Sacred Lake and its team often come to help."

"We... we have never received so much respect and heartfelt love from so many people. We feel that this cause can be carried on for a long time! This is a result struggled out of suffering; it was hard-won, Lord Necromancer God!"

He took a deep breath and said the most critical words: "The God of War is greedy and tyrannical; he will not share any resources with us! If we defect to him, we will only become cannon fodder that can be discarded at any time! But if we stay on Blue Star and cooperate with the Sacred Lake, we might... we might really have a glimmer of hope! I beg you to reconsider!"

The two Believers knelt on the ground, their heads bowed low.

This was the first time they had so directly and fiercely refuted the decision of the Necromancer God.

They feared death, but they feared even more that the Necromancer God would embark on an evil path that seemed safe but actually cut off the future and betrayed all their efforts and beliefs.

The Necromancer God had a gloomy face, listening to the entire statement of the two Believers without saying a word.

Wright persuading him was understandable, after all, his origin was on Blue Star.

But he didn't expect that even Yage would dare to refute him.

The Necromancer God laughed in anger:

"Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! Your judgment is all wrong!"

The black mist surged violently, showing his inner rage.

These two guys actually dared to point fingers at his decisions? And even come up with a bunch of grand theories?

Simply ridiculous! In the face of absolute power and destruction, in the face of cold otherworld rules, what did these fake things count for?

"Rebellion! Rebellion!" The Necromancer God roared,

"You two Believers have actually learned to refute! I knew it long ago, you've stayed on Blue Star too long, mixed with those animals of the Sacred Lake, and your hearts have gone wild! You have long had rebellious intentions!"

Surging killing intent permeated like substance.

The Necromancer God suddenly raised his bone palm, and the thick necromantic aura instantly turned into two huge black palms, carrying terrifying pressure, grabbing fiercely at Yage and Wright who were kneeling on the ground!

The posture was as if he would crush them into powder and completely annihilate their souls in the next moment.

Yage and Wright held their breath, their hearts pounding, feeling the cold breath of death.

But they did not resist, nor did they dodge, just lowered their heads further, their bodies trembling slightly from fear, but they still maintained their kneeling posture.

Their lives were given by the Necromancer God; if the Necromancer God wanted to take them back, they had nothing to say.

But they absolutely did not agree with the Necromancer God's decision to abandon Blue Star and run away alone, even if they died, they had to say it! Now, except for them, no one could persuade the Necromancer God.

The black mist giant hands arrived in an instant, and it looked like they were about to shroud and crush the two—however, just at the moment of contact, the two black mist giant hands stopped abruptly, and then changed their movements. Instead of crushing down, they slapped down fiercely towards the top of the two's heads like swatting flies!
