Viggo Tarasov was incredibly furious at this moment. Knowing who had ruined his affairs, he roared, "No one ruins my business and walks away unscathed!"

After speaking, Viggo did not linger. He left the warehouse and drove straight home.

His expression was as dark as water. Ever since his idiot son provoked the Baba Yaga, nothing had gone right for him.

Not only were important documents burned, but many of his subordinates were killed. Finally, to save his own life, he compromised and revealed his son's hiding place, even though he had arranged for many subordinates to guard it.

However, Viggo truly didn't have much confidence. Still, he hoped his subordinates could save his son's life and kill John, the assassin. Although the hope was slim, Viggo held onto a one-in-ten-thousand chance as he waited for the outcome.

Time passed minute by minute.

Viggo's expression was grim as he smoked. The ashtray on the table was overflowing with cigarette butts. He was waiting for the news that tormented him.

The phone rang. Viggo took a deep breath and answered the call.

Hearing the news transmitted over the phone, Viggo Tarasov paused, then hung up.

He then picked up a cigarette and took several deep drags.

After that, he picked up the phone, dialed several numbers in succession, and arranged a few things.

---Having exacted his revenge, John Wick returned to the Continental Hotel. Just as he walked in, Charon, the Continental Hotel's front desk attendant, called out to John.

"Mr. Wick!"

Hearing Charon call him, John stopped and walked over to the front desk, asking, "Is there something you need, Charon?"

Seeing John approach, Charon produced a car key and said, "Mr. Wick, the Continental Hotel is deeply apologetic for the events of last night. This is compensation from the Continental Hotel management for what transpired."

After speaking, Charon pushed the car key toward Wick.

John Wick glanced at the car key. He didn't refuse it; instead, he took it directly, greeted Charon, and headed upstairs.

Arriving at Charlotte Doyle's room door, John Wick knocked lightly a few times.

Hearing the knock, Charlotte Doyle knew it must be John. She immediately opened the door and, seeing the man outside, asked, "John, is the matter settled?"

"Yes, it's settled."

"Then come in and sit down." After saying this, Charlotte Doyle invited John to enter, sit down, and talk leisurely.

John Wick walked into the room and said, "Charlotte, thank you for your help. You saved my life this time."

After speaking, John Wick pulled out a Contract Medallion from his person and continued, "You previously mentioned wanting one of my Blood Oath Medallions. What exactly do you need me to do?"

"If the matter can be handled soon, I won't give you the Blood Oath Medallion; I'll just help you complete the task directly."

"After all, you know I've already retired. I've been out of the Assassin World for four years."

Charlotte Doyle said calmly and slowly, "Just give me the Blood Oath Medallion. I will contact you when I need you. There are no other matters to handle right now."

Hearing her say this, John Wick's expression remained normal, but inwardly he grew serious, realizing that the task Charlotte needed done later might be quite difficult. Nevertheless, he handed the Blood Oath Medallion over to her.

Receiving the Blood Oath Medallion, Charlotte smiled. In a good mood, he prepared to offer John Wick a reminder, slowly asking, "John, did you kill Viggo?"

Not knowing why Charlotte Doyle asked this, John Wick still replied, "I only had a personal grudge with Viggo's son, and I didn't move against Viggo himself. He told me his son's whereabouts and canceled the bounty."

Knowing that John ultimately held back, Charlotte Doyle said, "Viggo Tarasov is the leader of the Russian Mafia. He won't let this go. You should be mentally prepared."

"I believe Viggo Tarasov will abide by the agreement we made, but thank you for the reminder."

Hearing that John Wick hadn't taken the warning to heart, he didn't say anything more.

As for whether Marcus could survive, that was up to fate.

After saying goodbye to Charlotte Doyle, John Wick checked out of the Continental Hotel. Before leaving, he waited for the hotel to register the Blood Oath Medallion he had handed over.

---Driving the Black Dodge gifted by the Continental Hotel management, John Wick prepared to meet an old friend. After all, it wasn't just Charlotte Doyle who saved his life, but also Marcus, who had warned him earlier at the hotel.

Arriving at their usual meeting spot, Marcus complained, "John, how many times do I have to save you?"

John Wick replied, "I'm very grateful, Marcus."

Marcus looked at the man in front of him and then said, "You don't look like you're in good shape."

"I'm retired. This is what retired looks like."

Hearing his old partner's response, Marcus was somewhat dissatisfied. He said, "Retired? Do you still believe in that?"

"You have a new life."

"You'll find a way to get back on track."

At this point, Marcus patted John Wick on the shoulder and continued, "It's time to go home."

He sighed, then turned and left.

Their conversation was not pleasant.

However, Marcus and John Wick did not know that their meeting was fully recorded by Perkins, who was hidden in a nearby car, and reported to Viggo Tarasov.

---In the room, Viggo Tarasov watched the video brought by Perkins, and his expression grew even uglier. He hadn't expected that, besides the Ninja Charlotte Doyle interfering, Marcus, the assassin he hired, had actually betrayed him.

Sometimes, the anger caused by outside interference is less severe than the fury caused by a subordinate's betrayal.

If not for Marcus's betrayal, his son wouldn't have died. Thinking of this, Viggo became even angrier.

Without any hesitation, Viggo Tarasov immediately ordered his subordinates to surround Marcus's house. He wanted Marcus to pay the price for his actions.

At the same time, he took out his phone and ordered someone else, "Go kill that damn Charlotte Doyle."

"A Ninja. I want him to become a dead man."

After giving instructions to his subordinates, Viggo, taking Perkins and some of his men, drove toward Marcus's house. He intended to deal with Marcus inside his own home, and he would use Russian Gang methods to eliminate the traitorous assassin.
